We run a range of business and career development, marketing and social media, and creative industries workshops, seminars and short courses. They range from two hour introductory sessions up to our eight week evening business start-up course. Our courses run in a variety of informal venues across London, Kent, East and West Sussex and Surrey.
Business Start-up Courses
Discover your Inner Entrepreneur: This one day introductory course will help you take an honest look at yourself and your idea. Get-a-Head Start in Business: This course takes you through the business planning and start-up process in more detail, covering all the key areas you will need to think about before you get going. Business Start up for Migrant Communities: a unique combination of our Get-a-Head Start Course with language and vocabulary support for people with English as a second language, delivered in conjunction with English in the Community. Jargon-free Marketing: Marketing strategy and techniques for freelancers, small businesses, business managers, and non-marketeers. Web and Social Media Marketing: how to use the web and all the different social media tools available to you to support your business, creative or artistic practice without it taking over your life. Web and Social Media for the Third Sector: as above but with specific reference to the ethics and values of using social media for charities and social enterprises.
Market Research and Knowing your Customers: who are your customers, your competition and where are you placed in your market. Branding on a Budget: a course that debunks the myths of branding and shows how you can use all the same techniques as the big brands on whatever budget you are working to.
